Bottled water is bad for the environment.

SearlesWorld asked:
Bottled water use is both resource-wasteful and unnecessary because the municipal water supply is better regulated and is almost always of higher quality. Cut out the bottles and make a big difference.

yep Reverse Osmosis is loads better than bottled water
i use RO and love it cheap and endless no more waiting for the water filter
well done on this vid.
Tap water is not necessarily better, that is a fact. Most brands of bottled water can be recycled. Plus, its very fashionable to drink bottled water. My cats also prefer bottled water to tap water, its strange that they pick that over tap water….
The privatization of water has had a disastrous impact on the human right to clean water, and the French company Suez is the worst perpetrator of this abuse. The company’s billions of dollars in profit come at the expense of poor people living in countries where thousands lack access to potable water, and, because of private water contracts, are also facing skyrocketing water prices.
Whoever is saying that RO will leach minerals from your body does not know what they are saying. That is a flat out myth. A study done with injecting distilled water into people showed that people will shed small amounts of calcium when INJECTED with distilled water NOT RO. So if your injecting yourself with distilled water then hey you may want to be careful ;)You get over 99% of your minerals from the food you eat. Just the facts!
Fiji water being shipped to the US is the worst of all bottled waters. It takes extra gasoline to ship something that can be obtained locally. Besides, the water from Fiji is no better than tap water and it costs much more. The only bottle water I drink is from my own reusable sturdy bottle.
So what are the TRUE facts? Please indulge me
There is minerals in tap water. Your water utility will provide you with the mineral content once a year or upon request.
If you truly want good water, bottled isn’t the answer.
